El Sheikh Group Looks to Expand Frozen Strawberry Exports to Brazil
El Sheikh Group continues to strengthen its international presence in the frozen fruit industry, with new plans to explore export opportunities in Brazil, one of the world’s largest and most promising markets.
According to a feature published by ANBA – Brazil-Arab News Agency, El Sheikh Group produces frozen strawberries in the Obour City Industrial Zone near Cairo, Egypt, and exports around 6,000 tons annually to international markets, with China currently considered one of its key destinations.
The report highlighted the company’s interest in expanding into Brazil as part of its strategy to diversify its customer base and reach new global markets. During a visit to Brazil, El Sheikh Group CEO Amr Ali participated in business meetings and attended Anuga Select Brazil in São Paulo, through a stand organized by the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.
Brazil represents a strong potential market for Egyptian frozen strawberries, especially as El Sheikh Group continues to build on its export experience across Russia, Europe, China, and other destinations. The company’s expansion plans reflect the growing demand for high-quality frozen fruits and the increasing global recognition of Egyptian agricultural exports.
